This 18th-century Gothic Mansion is set in 20 acres of mature gardens, 15 minutes’ drive from Newtown and Welshpool. It offers bedrooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and free parking. The individually designed rooms at the Mellington have en suite bathrooms, LCD TVs and DVD players. Fine food is served in the 4 restaurants; The Cwn Dining, the Mahogany Panelled Restaurant, The William Morris Room and the intimate Shropshire Lounge. Afternoon tea and homemade cakes are on offer in the Offas Dyke Bar. Mellington Hall retains many of its original features including mullioned windows, oak panelling and a beautiful staircase. It mixes this with a décor of modern fabrics and fresh colours.
